Easy Calorie Calculation

4.12.11 In this video, ABC's resident food coach Cynthia Sass, among other things, mentions an interesting way to calculate the amount of calories you need per day. If you're at a weight you want to maintain and you have a job that requires you to sit for many hours without much exercise; multiple your weight (in pounds) by x10. If you exercise at least 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week, multiple your weight (in pounds) by x15  and the number you come up with is your daily caloric allowance.
