Takin' care of business during the cold season, benefits of lemon/water
10.16.11 In the fall/winter season it is important not to overburden the digestive system by drinking beverages which are too cold, especially in the morning when the stomach is just getting to work. I noticed it's good for me if I drink a warm water with lemon juice in the morning before I drink my morning coffee. It prepares the stomach for practically anything that might come along!
I've started to do this! And just to even flavor up my water once in a while. I wonder if the Vitamin C in the lemon penetrates well enough into the water :)
